I got into resistance training for the same reasons everyone else does. I wanted to look good. I did end up building muscle, but I found that wasn't even the best thing about lifting weights. Trying to exceed your previous records, your body's limit, your mental strength - those kept me training. The muscle was a byproduct. As a result of developing the discipline, mental fortitude and determination to achieve the above - my entire life changed for the better. I wanted to help others achieve the same, so I dedicated my career to being a qualified, educated PT that can actually create change in your life.
I started resistance training from age 14. I became hooked instantly. So much so that I wanted to compete. So I did. I began powerlifting preperation and then decided to enter into some competitions. I've competed in several national powerlifting competitions now and have learnt a great deal from doing so. If you'd like me to teach you the ropes of how to succeed in the sport too - send me an email or DM me on Instagram!
